The meaning of the name Perlentor
The Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, speaks of a city with 12 gates. Each gate is made of a pearl—a pearl gate. (“Perlentor”)
The city represents a place where it will never be dark again, where there is no more pain, fear, oppression, manipulation, or tears, and where the “old” has passed away.
Our work is meant to symbolically serve as a “pearl gate” for women.
Our logo, with its German lettering, reflects our belief:
Every woman we have the privilege of meeting and supporting is unique (einzigartig), loved by God (geliebt) and precious (kostbar)
